People who make my day brighter

There are so many people I come in contact with during the course of a day that are so rude or annoying, I thought I would pay a tribute to a few of the people that make my day brighter (and I don’t even know them very well).

1. Two of the security guys at my office building. They always tell me to have a great day/evening/weekend or that I have a nice smile.

2. A guy on my train that is always pleasant, never takes up more space than he needs, and is willing to move for people without complaining.

3. The janitor in our building is always so happy and kind to everyone.

4. Our receptionist – while I do know her more than the others on the list, she needs to be mentioned because she always has a smile on her face and is always polite and sweet no matter how rude some people are to her.

I hope that someday I will make someone’s list of people who made their day brighter.
