I have already failed at my commitment on my last post. I did not send any handwritten V-day cards to my loved ones. I received several cute ones (some even hand made) but instead, I waited until the last minute, and now I’m stuck sending e-cards, or a plain e-mail greeting, which of course is never as thoughtful as the handwritten note. Usually at this point I would probably say something like “it’s a Hallmark Holiday anyway,” but I need to just take full responsibility of my procrastination/laziness. I guess there is always St. Patty’s Day!!!
Bill and I decided not to do gifts or anything for V-day this year, but last night he pulled out a card (very similar to the one above). I loved the card, and if you have ever seen the Simpson’s episode regarding this card, I bet you can almost hear Ralphie’s voice. If you haven’t, you probably think I’m way weird for loving this card. It was perfect! My Husband has been surprising me with little things all week, doughnuts, flowers, etc! I is so thoughtful! Now if only I hadn’t procrastinated doing something for him… I guess the day is not over yet, so I still have time.
