Lilac Time

I mentioned that Lombard has a Lilac time, and I thought it would be a little like Tulip time, but it is very different. Although they do have a very beautiful park called Lilacia Park, and it is filled with all different types of Lilacs as well as tulips. Lilac time has been over for a few weeks now, but I wanted to share some pictures of when I went and walked around the park one afternoon. The park was beautiful and the aroma of the lilacs is one of my favorite scents. Enjoy my attempt at some decent photography.
