So, I realized that I haven't posted in quite a while. I left off with our trip to California. The following weekend we went to MI for JB and Melissa's wedding in Grand Rapids. It was fun catching up with Friends from College (And we got to meet Trey that weekend as well!). That weekend we took Buckley to the beach to see how she liked it, she was hesitant at first (especially on the pier), but in the end I think she really liked it!



Then, Abby, Jessie, and Carrie came to visit me in Chicago and we had a fun girls weekend, shopping, eating, going out downtown... Hope we can make this a yearly thing, I had so much fun (although our water heater broke down while they were here - not good, but they were such troopers!).




The following weekend we went to our friend Jon and Jill's for dinner (delicious fish Tacos!), then had a picnic poolside at Bill's parents house. Buckley had her first Pool experience!




Then in the evening Bill and I went out to dinner at the Melting Pot as an Early B-day celebration.



On my actual b-day, I was in for a surprise, when I came home from work, my parents had surprised me and driven down from Holland to meet us for a birthday dinner! It was such a good surprise! Then we went out to dinner with them and Bill's family as well.



That is the main events of July in a nut shell. I can't believe it is already the end of August!
