Windsor

A Few weeks ago Bill and I went to Windsor for the weekend (well, really just one night). My Sorority in College was having a formal, and a new policy at Hope was that they had to have their Adviser or one of the Alumnae go with them if they are going to be gone overnight. Their adviser couldn't go, and since Bill and I didn't have anything planned that weekend, we took the 5 hr trek over to Windsor. I had only been once, and Bill had never been so it was kind of an adventure. It was a ton of fun and everyone at the formal was so nice and welcoming. They didn't do the standard dance like we used to, they did dinner, and then went on a bar crawl that they had organized (since everyone could go out in Canada) and they had t-shirts made up for the bar crawl that everyone wore when they were out. We went to the dinner, and then did the beginning of the bar crawl with them. I would do it again in a heartbeat - they were so accommodating and appreciative, although it would be nice if it was at a place that was a little less of a drive.
